New Acoustic Guitar Song posted in Songs 101

The tab and video for an intro to an acoustic guitar song I'm writing was posted in Songs101 on the site. The song is called "undermine" it is played fingerstyle and is in Drop D tuning.

Frank Zappa Master Class

Sometimes as a guitar player I find myself guilty of not thinking about music as a whole and focus too much on the particular instrument that I happen to play. When I do this I find it helpful to dedicate some time studying composition or listening to music that is diverse and uses a wide range of other instruments. Frank Zappa's music provides a rich source of learning material in addition to being great music. You also get the added bonus of some amazing guitar playing as well. In that spirit I am sharing a Frank Zappa Masterlcass by Dave Frank. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Apple Blood Guitar EP

I anticipate digital downloads of the tracks will be available for free. It is a sombre album with a layered atmospheric vibe. I'm still working on cd artwork so if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Agile Guitar Demo #2

This is a second part to my video demoing of my new Agile 3000 guitar. This is just a few licks and riffs off the top of my head but I think it illustrates how the guitar sounds with some faster runs than the last video. I played straight into the computer through a Line6 Floor Pod Plus. This is pretty much noodling around so take it for what it is but I think it will give you some idea of the sound and maybe you'll hear a couple guitar runs you think are cool.
